Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge - Alice Springs, Australia - Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge is situated on the southern entrance to Alice Springs, snuggled into the base of the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges. This is the best scenic location in Alice Springs. It lies between the Airport and town centre, being a 15 minute drive from the Airport and only a 5 minute drive into the town centre.

Hotel Seeterrassee, Langenargen, Germany - A wonderful, little hotel located on the shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee) and run by the Klink Family. The food is excellent, rooms are a good value for the price. The town where the hotel is located, Langenargen, is a wonderful seashore town; simply an enjoyable place to relax.

King's Canyon Resort, Australia - Just a few hours drive from Uluru (Ayers Rock) and only three and a half hours from Alice Springs, Kings Canyon Resort is perfectly located for an extended tour of Central Australia.

Sofitel Taybet Zaman Resort Hotel, Petra, Jordan - The hotel overlooks Wadi Mosa's Valley and the rose-colored Sharah mountains that houses the rose-red city of Petra. Tauberhotel Kette, Wertheim, Germany - A wonderful, family owned hotel in the romatic city of Wertheim. The hotel itself if located within the old town along the banks of the Tauber River. Wertheim is located just 95 km from Frankfurt am Main, and is a great place to just relax and get away from the big cities of Germany.

The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel, Sydney, Australia - This is a great little hotel, established in 1841, making it Sydney's oldest. The hotel is in a quiet residential area of the Rocks, within short walking distance from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Downstairs in the hotel is a micro-brewery, where they make some really wonderful beers. The rooms are splendid, and the cost is reasonable (for downtown Sydney).

Voyages Resort Hotels, Australia - Simply the best chain of resort hotels in Australia. I've only stayed at three of the hotels, the quality was quite high in all of them. Highly recommended
