Bruges Markt

The centerpoint of Bruges is its central marketplace, the Markt. The Markt is circular in its layout, with many examples of Flemish and Gothic architecture along its edges. This scene shows a row of buildings, primarily housing restaurants in their lower levels. They are wonderful places to enjoy a meal and watch the city around you.

Bruges is the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium, in the northwest of the country. Bruges has most of its medieval architecture intact, making it one of the most well-preserved medieval towns in Europe.
