I'd like to thank you, and welcome you to my new and updated Website. On this website I’ll be exploring the world through photography. I’ve had a passion for photography for more than 30 years now, and I’m still excited every time I take my cameras out.

This website is also a transition for me, in many respects. Most of my life, my photography has revolved around the natural world, which led me to rely primarily on the large format camera. Now, I find that I am no longer capable of the physical activity that is required to carry the large amount of gear required for it on my back for long distances, and as a result have transitioned to a smaller digital camera. I still occasionally use the 4x5 film camera.

I love the outdoors, but more and more I find myself excited by travel photography. I've had the fortune of being able to travel most of my life - I lived in Germany and South Korea in my earlier life, where I learned to value and enjoy the culture of lands other than were I grew up - I continue to travel and explore many new and exciting areas. While I have overseas trips planned for the near future, I travel just as extensively closer to home. I'm currently in Cave Creek, Arizona, but I'm very mobile, living in a 30 ft. travel trailer (2016 Bullet Premier 26RBPR) for much of the year.
