View from Hohensalzburg Castle

After touring Hohensalzburg Castle I found a little cafe, at the Panoramarestaurant zur Festung Hohensalzburg, along the castle walls to enjoy a little coffee and the southwest facing view (some of the mountains in this view are in Germany).

Hohensalzburg Castle sits atop the Festungsberg, a small hill in the Austrian city of Salzburg, and was erected at the behest of the Prince-Archbishops of Salzburg. Construction of the fortress began in 1077 under Archbishop Gebhard von Helfenstein, and further expanded between 1495 and 1519 by Prince-Archbishop Leonhard von Keutschach.
